Teresa is the principal of the business and holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Accountancy major), and a Masters of Commerce (Honours) at the University of Wollongong. She has also attained a Fellowship status (FCPA) from CPA Australia. She first started the business, on her own in 1993. From then, she has enabled the business to grow into a successful firm as it is today. As such, it’s not just tax and accounting expertise she can provide, she can also advise on how to make a business become a success. The list of services that she provides is endless, and the support she provides to her clients is extraordinary. Her main advisory expertise includes taxation, personal finance, business finance, superannuation, business law, employment law, software training, business advice, tax planning, payroll, and much more.

Teresa and her family made a few desperate attempts to escape from the notorious Communist regime of Vietnam, and was rescued, and taken to Singapore Refugees camp in the early 80s. When she arrived in Australia, she could not speak/understand English but was determined to achieve an education that was denied back in Vietnam because of her family background.She is fluent in English, Vietnamese, and French. Teresa’s hobbies include cooking, walking, playing the violin, voluntary works and plays an active role as President of the Vietnamese Community in Australia – Wollongong chapter. She hopes that by making contribution to the community, it will help bring a positive image of Refugees and Asylum seekers and change people’s perception about them.

Feifei completed a degree in Bachelor of Commerce. She is a senior member of our team and provides a wealth of knowledge and experience to our team. She is proficient in taxation, corporate compliance, payroll and superannuation compliance, financial accounting, and management accounting. She has grown close to many of our clients, and all of whom love her for the expertise she provides. She is fluent in English and Mandarin. Her hobbies now consist of solely spending time with her baby daughter, Lillian.

Connie provides administrative support and assistance to the professional staffs in our firm. Connie’s role is to help develop and build relations with customers. Connie joins Teresa Tran’s practice in 2005 and has added valuable service to the firm. : Connie’s hobbies include travelling and cooking for her family and friends. She leads a simple and healthy lifestyle, and provides healthy food advice to fellow colleagues.

Bianca completed a Bachelor of Commerce (Accountancy major) at the University of Wollongong. She is an enthusiastic and reliable individual who is very much a valued member of our team, and to our clients. Everybody that has met her have always commended her on the immense assistance and skillset that she provides. Bianca is proficient in company taxation, trust taxation, business planning & structuring, corporate compliance, and audits. She is fluent in English, Cantonese, Mandarin, and Vietnamese.

Bianca hobbies include traveling to the beach, natural sceneries, cooking, and part-taking in activities hosted in Wollongong. Her favourite event is ‘Light the Night’ hosted by the Leukaemia foundation.

Nancy holds two masters: Masters of Commerce, and Masters of Professional Accounting – at the University of Wollongong. She is a member of CPA Australia and has years of experiences as a senior book-keeper for: metal fabrication businesses in the Illawarra, for restaurants, foreign companies, international banks, and for real-estate agent businesses. As such, her work-experience has provided her with an immense in-depth knowledge about those industries, how they operate, and how their accounting & administration systems are to be structured. She is fluent in English, and Vietnamese.

Nancy enjoys spending time with her family and friends, and volunteering for the Vietnamese Community in Australia

Jenni is currently studies a Bachelor Commerce (Accountancy major) at the University of Wollongong. She has experience in business book-keeping, and taxation for individuals and businesses. In addition to her accounting skills, she is also a keen researcher in the area of taxation law, and provides regular updates, to our firm and to our clients, on the changes to laws regarding to taxation, businesses, and superannuation. She works very closely with our clients, and they are very grateful for her, and the expertise she provides. She is fluent in English, Cantonese, Vietnamese, and Mandarin.

Jenni enjoys going to the National Parks, spending time with friends, and volunteering for the Vietnamese Community in Australia with Teresa.

Christopher completed a Bachelor of Commerce (Accountancy major) at the University of Wollongong, and is currently undertaking the CPA Australia qualification. Christopher’s skills include proficiency in accounting soft wares, taxation, payroll & superannuation compliance, and corporate compliance. Christopher is also responsible in providing research material on accounting systems, investment strategies, self-managed superfunds, and taxation. He also provides accounting software solutions, and support for businesses. He is fluent in English and Vietnamese.

Chris was presented with The Duke of Edinburg Award- Gold Award- by Her Excellency Professor Marie Bashir – Governor of NSW at the NSW Government House, Sydney. He enjoys learning languages, playing piano, and volunteering for the Vietnamese Community of Australia.

Huyen Thuong (Sophie) Ngo

Sophie is currently studying a Bachelor of Commerce (Accountancy major) at the University of Wollongong, and is our newest member to the firm. Since joining our firm in 2017, she has quickly learnt and excelled in business book-keeping, and taxation for businesses. She is a proficient user of Xero and Myob softwares, and regularly consults our clients with any technical issue they may have with their accounting softwares. Sophie is also proficient in business administration management, and specialises in personal taxation and works closely with Teresa in ensuring that every tax return gets the maximum benefit. She is fluent in English, and Vietnamese. Sophie likes spending time in the Blue mountains, and any other place that is covered in snow.

Carson completed a Bachelor of Commerce (Dean’s Scholar) at the University of Wollongong. Carson is a valued member to our firm and acts as a payroll and employment consultant to our business clients. Our business clients hold him in high regard for providing them with regular updates on changes to the Fair Work legislation, ensuring they continue to be compliant with industrial relations laws, and all other matters relating to employment law. In addition to this, he specialises in taxation, and business advisory. Furthermore, he is fluent in English, Malay, Mandarin, and Cantonese. Outside of work, Carson spends his free time as a regular tutor to a number of university students studying Bachelors or Masters of Commerce, and Accounting. He enjoys travelling, and is fascinated by almost everything produced in and originating from Japan. He aims to visit Japan at least once a year.
